Keep us singing Canadian art song

Thank you for considering support of Canadian Art Song Project. Your generosity allows us to hear and listen to Canada in a whole new way. Since inception, Canadian Art Song Project has given over 100 artists performing opportunities across Canada. With your help, we can continue to provide a creative platform for established and emerging composers, writers and artists.

When you donate shares, you do not incur capital gains tax and you receive a tax receipt for the full market value of your gift. Making a gift is easy. With the help of your broker, fill out the form below.

Corporate or foundation

Both our commissions-based and archival work offer exceptional, high-impact opportunities for corporations and foundations to meet their philanthropic and business goals. From recordings to performances, commissions to publications, your support can truly change the course of vocal music in Canada.

We regularly recruit volunteer positions for concert attendants, set up and take down, bartenders, podcasting, social media, administrative tasks — and many other things! It’s a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and make our many projects possible.

Board membership

We are an active board of arts lovers of various backgrounds. From time to time, we have open positions. If you would like to help shape the future of Canadian Art Song Project, please introduce yourself!

All of your gifts to Canadian Art Song Project are tax deductible because Canadian Art Song Project is a registered charity.

“We truly believe that the arts have never been more important – or more imperiled. A donation to CASP goes directly to the artists who make art happen. That means that you can be the difference between a project realized and a project only dreamt of. And we think that is pretty special.”

– Lawrence Wiliford & Steven Philcox, Co-Artistic Directors
