Canadian Art Song Project is thrilled to announce that award-winning composer Afarin Mansouri has been commissioned to write a new set of songs for soprano and piano. This new work is being composed for soprano Miriam Khalil and will be premiered as part of the Mazzoleni Masters series at The Royal Conservatory.
This new work will dialogue with Beethoven’s cycle An die ferne Geliebte, Op. 98 which will be performed by Russell Braun on the same program.
