Canadian Art Song Project is excited to share a sneak peek at the next chapter in our journey of blending art song with animation: The Piece Atop His Pate — a new animated short based on “Bobby Hull,” a wonderfully engaging song by the late Jocelyn Morlock.

New Commission:

Song Cycle by Pouya Hamidi

I Will Greet the Sun Again explores themes of night, family, and intimate love, tracing a journey from darkness to light through the poetry of four women writers from Iran and the Iranian diaspora.

JUNO Nomination for Known to Dreamers

CASP’s album Known to Dreamers: Black Voices in Canadian Art Song  has been nominated for a 2025 JUNO Award in the category of Classical Album of the Year (Small Ensemble)!  This is the second JUNO nomination for a Canadian Art Song Project album.
